We have currently have an opening for a Service Operations Manager.

What do our Service Center Managers do?

 

Service Center Managers plan, organize, manage and direct all service center operations. They oversee customer service, sales, customer interaction and warehouse operations.

 

  • Ensure “World Class Service” to our clients by training, coaching, and motivating team members on best practices, techniques, and products
  • Manage financial performance of the service center, including revenue growth and expense control
  • Manage CSS and Installer route loads
  • Initiate and schedule plant replacements
  • Manage and assist with holiday preparations and installations as needed
  • Submit weekly, monthly and yearly reports as required

What do you need?

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred but not required)
  • 3-5 years in a management role with emphasis in customer service
  • Success in training, mentoring and coaching service professionals
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous experience in a route-oriented, service environment a plus
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings and weekend work when needed
  • Ability to obtain and maintain licenses/certificates as required by federal, state and local regulations
  • Must pass pre-employment background screen and drug test
  • Valid driver’s license/clean driving record

Provides a positive work environment for all team members

  • Performance management of CSS and Installers
  • Follow-up with CSS and Installers in regards to the “Discovery" and “Career Path" programs
  • Assists in interviewing process for CSS and Installers
  • Provide new hires with a thorough, proper and timely orientation
  • Conduct all Workshops in accordance with company schedule
  • Completes/maintains all job position required administrative paperwork

 

Day to Day

  • Provides new hires with proper tools for the job when hired and replacement tools as needed
  • Initiate and schedule plant replacements
  • Provide plant orders to warehouse or admin manager
  • Conduct and provide vehicle audits to admin manager as required
  • Manage CSS and Installer route load
  • Communicate across departments to ensure smooth business operations
  • Stand-in for CSS as needed
  • Ensure CSS and Installers work within budgetary payroll and replacement guidelines
  • Managers and assists with Holiday preparations and installations as needed
  • Have working knowledge of Branch P&L statements and budgetary requirements
  • Attend all required meetings
  • Conduct required Connection meetings and workshop classes as designed and as scheduled
