    Customer Payments Professional


    A Customer Payments Professional’s main job responsibilities include the following:

    • Open mail according to the specifications set for each individual company
    • Scan checks and/or remits according to the individual company process into the appropriate program or application (CM8, Readsoft, Docutran)
    • Apply payments (check, EFT/ACH, and/or credit card) via Alloc8 software based on backup provided from customer
      • Obtain Team Lead assistance for difficult transactions or application questions
    • If working in an individual company, balance your days activity between the bank totals and the ERP reports to ensure all payments are posted

    Other responsibilities include:

    • Assist other team members as needed to get all companies caught up including the following tasks:
      • Alloc8 in another company
      • Authorize cc’s
      • Lookup invoice and account info in other systems for transfer transactions
      • Mail duplicate payments back to customers
    • Work through AR aging reports and cleanup accounts with payments on account


    Ideal Candidates will possess the following:

    • Degree in Accounting or Finance related subject or 1-2 years’ experience in a check processing or payment application environment.
    • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
