TheDigital Training Manager is responsible for the design and development of online, instructor-led, blended learning, and supplemental training materials (i.e., user guides, videos, job aids, graphics) that are functional, engaging, informative, and consistent with sound instructional design principles. This position will work with all lines of business within Rentokil North America assisting with training and development needs. The Digital Training Managerwill partner with subject matter experts (SME) in various departments to identify and execute training solutions. The Digital Training Managermust have strong oral and written communication skills in addition to excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Plan, analyze, design, and develop online, instructor-led, blended learning curriculum.
Maintain and update instructor-led, supplemental, online and distance learning curriculum.
Consult with subject matter experts (SME) to ensure training information is current and accurate.
Research current instructional design and graphic design techniques.
Administer courses on the Learning Management Systems (LMS).
May conduct training and train-the-trainer sessions.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Education, Training & Development, or related areas of study and at least 2+ years of experience
Ability to work with a team to assess training needs and develop an approach.
Ability to interpret client needs and produce instructional materials.
Ability to produce quality materials.
Working knowledge of adult learning principals.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Applications.
Skilled in using various multimedia tools such as Captivate, Articulate, Storyline, other e-learning authoring tools, video creating tools, and other forms of delivery technologies as required
Experience with Learning Management System (LMS) administration.
Familiarity with User Experience / User Interface design related to instructional design.
Familiarity with graphic design elements appropriate for training including the use of common graphic design tools such as Photoshop.
Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Education, Training & Development, or related areas of study.
