    Human Resources/Recruitment Internship


    Length of Internship: December - March (12 weeks)


    As a Rentokil Human Resource Recruitment Intern, you will have the opportunity to:

    • Relate education to real life situations
    • Grow as a professional and an individual
    • Gain knowledge and experience in Human Resources - Recruiting department
    • Take ownership of tasks, complete projects, and see the results of your hard work

    Duties and responsibilities:

    • Complete projects and tasks as assigned
    • Maintains requisitions in the ATS
    • Monitors and posts open positions on job boards, social media site and newsprint – continues to improve process and find creative ways to advertise
    • Screens resumes/applications
    • Conducts initial phone interviews, screening out candidates and forwarding top candidates through the process
    • Schedule  face-to-face interviews when needed
    • Advise and assist hiring managers with recruitment process – including use of the ATS, note taking, record keeping and interviewing
    • Performs all other duties as assigned.



    • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources

    • Organizational skills and tracking to ensure all questions are answered or provided adequate follow-up
    • Proficient computer skills – experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook & Excel) required

    • Reliable transportation
    • The ability to work full time (30-40 hours/week)


    • Experience working in an applicant tracking system; experience with the iCIMS ATS is preferred
    • Demonstrated ability to communicate well, both verbally and in writing at all levels of the organization
    • Demonstrated time management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
    • High level of attention to detail
    • Must demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel
    • Must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
    • Must pass criminal background check
