Administrative Assists will help with the coordination and management of internal branch functions as well as interface with customers over the phone. May assist with or manage warehouse/greenhouse and flowering plant program.

 

 

Principle Responsibilities:

Note: These functions will vary based on Branch size and specific needs

  • Assists with accounts payable vouchers on invoices
  • Assists with Customer and Colleague Opinion Surveys
  • Participates with accounts receivable and collections, as needed
  • Works with customers, managers and sales reps to resolve billing problems
  • Assists with payroll
  • Assists with the orientation and training support of new hires
  • May assist with opening, sorting and distribution of daily mail
  • May assist with monthly inventory
  • May assist with forecasting and monthly financial close
  • Abides by and supports all company policies
  • Accepts special assignments as required
  • Observes confidentiality of all documents and verbal communications
  • Uses expedited delivery services (FedEx) in a cost efficient manner
  • Performs any required Learn Center input within necessary timeframe
  • Submits all required paperwork within designated timeframe
  • May serve as HR liaison between corporate and branch
  • Assists in the maintaining of adequate inventories of all required supplies, plants and hard goods
  • May manage or assist with flowering plant program

 

 

Responsibilities

 

 Education/Experience:

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • Any prior job that involved significant successful customer contact/service, or departmental management is a plus
